LauPeh learning software
LauPeh Writer is a project-written animation and tracing engine, created with AI assistance for this website on 1 October 2026. It uses native browser SVG and input APIs to animate the original stroke drawings, display hints and check guided tracing. No third-party JavaScript animation, tracing or handwriting library is included in this release.
The learning activities, family interface, star rewards and owner dashboard also use project-written application code. The website still runs on browser and server software supplied by their providers.
LauPeh beginner stroke drawings
The 56 tracing characters use new geometric stroke drawings prepared for LauPeh on 1, 7 and 9 October 2026. Their centre lines, curves and rounded outlines were specified for this project and generated with project-written code. They do not use font outlines, Hanzi Writer Data, Make Me a Hanzi or Arphic data.
These simple diagrams show stroke direction and order for beginners. They are not a calligraphy font or a handwriting assessment. The conventional characters and writing sequences are not claimed as exclusive to LauPeh. The drawings are displayed by the project-written LauPeh Writer engine.

Device text, symbols and voice
This release does not download or bundle web fonts. Normal text and emoji are rendered using fonts already available through the visitor’s browser and operating system. No third-party emoji image pack is bundled.
Mandarin, English and Malay speech use the browser/device speech service. The site contains no copied music, narration recordings or video. Device fonts and speech services remain supplied by their providers; they are not represented as LauPeh creations. The application does not export or redistribute those fonts or voice recordings.
Learning activities and mascot
The lesson wording, short stories, interface, colourful backgrounds and numbered direction guides were prepared for this project. The fifty-six-character beginner recognition course adds project-written examples and exercises, using device-rendered symbols, original position diagrams and the LauPeh beginner stroke drawings. The sky, soil and field pictures were created for these lessons using AI-assisted image generation, without third-party reference pictures. The number lessons include tap-to-count practice with device-rendered star symbols and project-written examples for one to ten. The mixed-character review reuses those examples with project-written prompts and game logic. No textbook pages, songs or recorded narration were copied into these activities. They are not represented as public-domain works, and generation alone is not a guarantee of exclusive rights or non-infringement.
The original mascot artwork belongs to LauPeh, as confirmed by the artist on 1 October 2026. At the owner’s request, the current full-body character was re-rendered with more lifelike 3D detail using AI-assisted image generation. The matching portrait logo and six greeting/celebration poses use that new rendering as their character reference. The browser displays the poses as short animations. No outside character artwork or recorded audio was imported. The original and earlier assets are retained separately from the active versions. © LauPeh. All rights reserved. English and Bahasa Melayu letter guides
The 52 capital and small-letter writing diagrams are independently specified geometric paths created for LauPeh. They are not extracted from fonts or outside handwriting worksheets. New letter activities, word sentences, questions and short stories are project-authored. The guides show one simple print-writing convention, including single-storey a and g. See LETTER-GUIDES.md in the installation package.
7 October learning expansion
Ten additional Mandarin character lessons, twelve English word-family cards and two English shared-reading stories were written for LauPeh. The 25 accompanying pictures are original geometric SVG drawings authored in project code. No outside artwork, font outlines, worksheets or recorded narration were imported. The SVG picture generator is included in the installation package.
7 October: more Mandarin and English
That release brought the courses to 44 Mandarin characters, 36 English word cards and six English stories. Twenty new picture cards were generated for LauPeh with AI assistance and prepared for the website. The new lesson text and character stroke coordinates were authored for this project. No outside stock images, worksheets, font outlines or recordings were imported. Generated pictures are stylised learning cues and do not establish exclusive rights.
9 October: all four learning worlds
Six Mandarin character lessons, two Mandarin stories, twelve English word cards, two English stories, eighteen Bahasa Melayu word cards, four Bahasa Melayu stories and six Numbers games were authored for LauPeh. Thirteen new picture cues were generated for this project with AI assistance. Their original atlases and preparation notes are retained in the source repository. Number frames, plates and dots use project-written CSS. No outside artwork, worksheets, fonts or audio recordings were imported. The installation package includes content and drawing provenance.
9 October: everyday learning, bundle 2
Six further Mandarin character lessons, twelve English words, twelve Bahasa Melayu words, two stories per language and five Numbers games were authored for LauPeh. Fourteen picture cues were generated for this project in three image-generation calls, without outside reference artwork. The original atlases, exact prompts and crop records are retained in the source repository. In/out movement diagrams, shapes, sizes and lengths use project-written code. No third-party font outlines, handwriting data or audio recordings were imported.
